Talking To The Moon

perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

ok..
lets update.

i'll try to make it short and sweet.
hmm..

well..
today i had my orientation.
yups..
seems fun but i think its just me lah......
i was more worried of being alone rather than to make new frens.
(not that i din make any frens).

chronologically...

met yonglin at his bus stop.
man was the bus packed with ppl.
reached there 45 mins later.
reported at LFT (Lee Foundation Theatre) to mark our attendance.. (gosh)

we got our student cards and my face on that card suck i tell u.
oh ya..
for the course i applied, i have a booklist.
a SINGLE BOOK which cost 45bucks!
its an ECONOMICS book.
majorly, this yr, will be concentrating more on MICROECONOMICS.
not MACROECONOMICS (3rd yr).
lol...
I MISS THOSE PRE-U days.

yup..r'cvd our stuffs and had a gruelling talk session by the President and etc
from 9:30am till like around 12.
gosh.. i couldnt feel my butt after which.

then its lunch.
had BUFFET LUNCH.
and i was like a lost sheep.
THANK GOD there's SHARIS!
she's the OL for my grp that is.
well she's one yr ahead of me of course.....

fyi, she's my "scandal" back in those sec sch days.
she's my crap partner who sits beside me most of my upper sec life.
as i was saying, thank god answered my prayers.
she saved me from being driven away into boredom.
thanks!

after BUFFET was a talk with our DEPARTMENT HEADS.
r'cvd our timetable.. this and that...
MAN I HATE MY TIMETABLE!!
so.....
NOT NICE....
ARTS MANAGEMENT (PERFORMING ARTS) has a more as the malays would say it, 'GEREK' timetable.
they even have school on saturdays.
and heard from the seniors that Sat lessons are VERY INTERESTING.
the lecturer damn nice.
according to Azreen [one of our OLs].

i'm gonna try to appeal from Visual Arts to Performing Arts side on the 1st week of the semester.
i'm so NOT gonna stick with VISUAL ARTS.

AFTER all that was a quick tour to our classrooms, com labs, library which has a cool corner for us to relax and etc,
then they brought us to this com lab for us to register our MODULES.
so lame lah..
they could have done it for us.
its just a 3 step thingy.
which takes less than a minute to complete.
LOL.....

the next few bits i'm gonna say it in brief.
so bare with it..
i'll go into details if i need to.

headed NAFA library with YL and that trumpet guy.
went off.

ME n YONGLIN walked down to National Library (its nearby) cos i need to return my books.
went to search for the books i've been trying to borrow, AND STILL no sign of it.
its weird.
U KNOW NATIONAL LIBRARY?
that huge building?
BOOKs are only covered at BASEMENT ONE.
and its only one floor.
so lame... haha!
its huge though!

then headed down to Bras Basah's Mac.
ate.
walked down to FUNAN..
sat at the Mac there till 6:50pm.
and began to make our way to VCH.

went to watch Singapore Youth Orchestra (SYO) 's concert.
i was pretty tired though.
had lack of sleep.
to be honest...
1st half, i listened attentively for "Marche Slave".
and the pieces thereafter, i was on the verge of dosing off.
tired lerr.....

seond half, i listened thru'out the whole thing.
BTW..kelly's solo IS nice..
LOVE IT!
good job!

concert ended..
walked down to City Hall MRT station and trained down.
alight at Eunos (finally; cos i ALWAYS alight at BEDOK).
60-ed home
and ta'da..
watched 'Prisonbreak' (the EVER-so-nice DRAMA) and
'How I Met Your Mother' (nice show)
before showering.
after showerering.. i dont think i'll hafto elaborate more rite?
