perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

GUITAR HEROES III: LEGENDS OF ROCK ON XBOX360
4:24 PM

let's do an update shall we.

so,
my life for the past few days have practically been;
yeah, you guessed it.
BORING!

thinking of going out would make me think twice.
cos i'm near to being broke.
(parents not in town, so can't ask for more pocket money. heh)
and besides that,
i'm just plain lazy to go out.

and no,
i've not been a couch potato.
just that i, too, have datelines.
yeah....
the designing of Viva La Musica III's program booklet.
it takes time u know..
my designing juices dont come by that easy.
lol...

i'm still considering the job offer Mr C. offered me during Dil Se.
it was a rare oppurtunity,
to work with ppl in SSO.
i was thinking of taking a job but the pay is around $5/hr and such.
but the job Mr C. offered me was $10/hr.
ok, let's not be money minded.
cos i'm not.
BUT that would definitely help me boost up my savings.
(cos i'm currently saving up for a driver's license)

all i have to do is to send him a CV and just wait for his reply.
ARGH!
oh ya,
i'd only have to work on weekends [9am-6pm].
YES PEOPLE.
WEEK-ENDS!
that made me think alot harder.
weekends' the time for me to spend with my loved ones.
n not only that,
on saturday mornings, its sort of a must for me to drop by BN for band.
but Mr C. said he could cater to that.
BUT, wait, there's another thing,
on Sundays, there will be Philyouth practices (which will resume on Jan 6th)
AND practices are from 3pm-6pm...
how leh ?
hmmmmmmmm.....
a whole lot of people is giving me the support.
cos that job is related to the course i'm studying at NAFA.
and Mr. C is the Senior Executive Director of SSO.
oh man!

IN HUGE DILEMMA NOW.

it's ok
i'll come to my senses soon.
i hope.

so besides being busy with the designing and getting caught up in a huge dilemma,
of course i need something to tranqullize me to make me feel numb.
haha!
yeah, and its none other than XBOX360!
bro bought quite a number of games.
and i'm currently sticking to 2 of em'.
but i'm gonna share with u guys only if one it.
(the other one prolly next time; no worries)

its called
.
.
.

"GUITAR HEROES III: Legends of Rock."

it's basically like what most of us would recognise;
DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION.
that kind of thing....
u dun play it on a console controller..
but instead, u play it on a remote guitar!
it looks sth like this....

5 buttons on the fret area to press.
a place where to strum/pluck.
and that pull-thingy where u can give the sound made a "vibrato".
and not forgetting,
it's wireless...
so no worries of getting caught up with the wires while u rock your way thru the game.

and here's a screenshot of how gameplay looks like.
(it's not the version i'm currently playing, but it sort of looks the same)

ok,
i must say.

its NOT AN EASY GAME.
all it takes is practice.
say it with me.
PRAC-TICE.

u cant just log in into the game and play EXPERT mode.
don't bother talking about playing EASY mode cos it's child's play.
MEDIUM mode is already quite a challenge.
WHAT MORE EXPERT MODE?
haha!

let me have u to have a taste of how EXPERT mode is like.
it's crazy i tell u.
(there are MORE DIFFICULT ones, but i'm just lazy to scout for more)

anyhoos,
there're glitches here and there but forgiveness is on his side
HE'S WAY BETTER THAN ME.
some parts of it is just too EASY (ceh!) but..
just watch it for urself.......
haha!

(stop the current music in my JUKEBOX column before pressing play)

so, the creator of the game was sensible enough
to provide gamers with practice mode
where u can choose different tempo to practice to.
not only u can choose the tempo,
you can choose the section u wanna practice.
(intro, verse 1, verse 2, solo A, solo B etc etc)
this game is all about co-ordination.
once u loose it,
BA'AM!
u'll be crawling on the floor begging for mercy.
haha!

ok,
check out the next video,
this kid is
FANTABULOUS
+EXCELLENT
+IDONOTKNOWWHAT!

he's only 8 years old and he's playing EXPERT MODE.
at certain section of the song,
HE EVEN TURN HIS BACK AGAINST THE TV AND PLAY IT CORRECTLY.
show off.
HAHAHA!
okok.... check him out...

AWESOME KID!

till then.
ROCK ON!
