i slept relatively late the day before..
say around 4am plus; close to 5.
and only to find out next that i was woken up by mom.
if i could rmb it vividly, it was between 11-11:30am.
mom WOKE ME UP
(oh my precious sleep!!)
and asked me whether i wanna tag over across the causeway; Johor.
knowing that i dont really have plans for the day
and that i would be bored by virtually nothing at home,
i decided to drag my lazy ass off my comfy bed and showered.
sheeesh...
all for the name of getting rid any signs of boredom.
went out soon after,
and we're good to go.
first stop was Woodlands Immigration Custom (duh!)
i must say there was a traffic jam.
but the wait wasnt that long.
just that some inconsiderate drivers would cross over
to the lane my dad's car was;
knowing that their lane flows smoothly.
sheesh!
others that happened in the custom was normal.
nothing interesting..
OH YES!
when dad was paying the toll to enter M'sia, sth sort of funny happened.
dad: *hands over money* sini bole tambah nilai tak? (tambah nilai means top-up)
that lady in that booth: ape dier ? maksod abg ape ? TOP-UP?
i was laughing my ass off; like seriously.
that lady is a MALAY fyi.
we talk their language, and they reply in english.
and whats more, i dont think she has a clue wad "tambah nilai" means.
EVEN me, who forever suck conversing in malay knows what "tambah nilai" means.
haha!
sth to laugh at......
so,
first stop in Malaysia was that warong (food stall in English)
we'd always go for food.
but sadly; it was closed.
headed towards Danga Bay and stopped over that "Singgah Selalu" place.
and i swear, the food there suck; BIG TIME!
finished up my food and sis decided to take pictures..
for whatever reasons..

headed down to Plaza Angsana cos mom wanna walked around there.
i think that place is such a bore.
apart from the shops that sells shoes and etc.
at one moment, dad was involved in some stupid scam.
thank god dad realised it was some sort of a scam.
not going into details.
then went down to the shop where i'd always get my stuff from.
this time round, begged mom for a new shoe...
ok here's the frustrating part...
she allowed it BUT i came to know that there weren't any left of my size.
dang!
IT HAPPENS TO ME EVERY FRIGGIN' TIME!
sheesh....
*we're going Johor again this Sunday
and i'm so gonna hunt down for that shoe.*
oh btw, is that kind of slip on shoes (from Vans; leather material).
and no, i have no intentions of being a Mat
(the malay equivalent of an Ah Beng)
i just find it nice after watching High School Musical 2.
the part where Zac Efron sings 'Bet on it'.
i like his style; thats all.
and yes,
i was bored at that time with no shows to watch.
but ah heck, i think HSM 2 is nice.

went Tebrau City (easily known as JUSCO)
got myself this really nice t-shirt.
(a one piece short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirt combine into 1)
then...
went to buy some groceries at JUSCO.
i've found out sth cool.
JUSCO is from Japan.
so, its a tradition for them to bow, before entering the back office or whichever room
nvm, i'll show u a picture of it the next time i'd go there.
anyway,
took pictures while grocery shopping.
sis took pictures without my consent but i'm gonna show it to you guys anyway.

so, bought like 6 of em' cos just wanna try out on the different flavours..

CHOCOLATE PUDDING is new found love.

it is divinely DELICIOSO!
(NOW that reminds me of Dora the Explorer; dont ask how I know. haha!)
then at around 4plus close to 5,
dad decided to eat.
mom, initially wanted to dine in at Kenny Rogers.
but dad wanted to try sth new.
so, we tried "Flinestone's Bistro".
the atmosphere of that restaurant is so nice.
it has a nice ambience.
feels like some high-class restaurant..
and dont get me started on the food.
its HEAVEN!~
well, i'm gonna talk about the food anyway.
mom's Pink Guava [RM6.90], my ice blend [RM6] choc and sis' ice blend cappuccino [RM6].
dad's cappuccino [RM4.50]
dad's French Mushroom soup [RM6] and garlic bread [RM4.90].
Surf & Turf platter with the BBQ sauce which is SPLENDID! [RM18.90]
sis' Flinestone's Special Sandwich [RM14.90]
my Alla Vongole [RM16.90]
mom's chicken Lasagna [RM14.90]

well, seriously,
i think M'sia is sucha good place to dine in at a "high class" restaurant.
the food is nice and the price that comes with, couldnt get any better.
total bill was around RM115.
[converted into SGD; approx. $60]
60 SG bucks for 4 pax ?
i think that's is quite cheap
considering they have such good food.
after eating,
getting into the christmas mood.

went window shopping most of time.
mom bought an umbrella from Espirit which cost around RM60.
i went WHAT?!?!
S$35 for a friggin' umbrella ?!
hahaha!
my mom just wanna shop;
and that unfortunate umbrella became her victim.
walked around the whole mall.
and before heading off to the carpark,
went Breadtalk as usual to get the Tuna Floss buns and the Spicy Chicken Floss buns.
mom bought this choc muffin which is the 2nd best i've tried,
(of which i'm munching on it now)
by then it was 8:30pm?
i dunno.. couldnt bother to keep track of time.
was kinda fatigue.
(due to lack of sleep)
without no where else to go,
dad decided to head home.
topped up the car's fuel (cos petrol there is so cheap. haha!)
slept in the car cos there was a minor traffic jam but it all went smoothly.
passed Singapore's immigration with breeze.
picked 2nd bro up from his GF's place in Punggol.
got lost while searching for the block.
hahaha!
Punggol is seriously confusing.
went home.
on the way home,
dad asked where else i'd wanna go.
i replied saying (though i was kinda fatigue).
"hmmm.. i feel like drinking teh uh abah (dad in malay)."
(teh=hot milk tea)
that's all i need to get rejuvenated.
sent bro home 1st.
and myself, mom, sis and dad (of course)
headed down to Simpang Bedok.
to chill and drink teh.
haha!
ate Prata cos there was still room for it.
thought of asking dad to go to the airport to look at the aeroplanes flying off and touching down.
(its been such a long time since we done that)
as a kid, as a family, we'd go watch aeroplanes do that.
haha!
seeing the plane in full speed and lifting itself off from the ground with
the "WOOOOHHHH".... "WAHHHHH"...
miss those times.
but decided not to..
cos dad was falling sick.
he caught a cold.
he was sneezing.
wiping his nose non-stop.
so, we headed home.
ok..
nothing much happened after that..
we're going Johor again this sunday to get the visors for dad's car mounted on.
and after that, gonna hunt for that bloody shoe!!
and i'm having this feeling mom's gonna grocery and window shop again.
oh boy!
