perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

BAD DAY?
11:59 PM

today was like any other day,
just that it was kinda gray.

when it seems that I'm missing the things i really wanna see in life,

i get smacked back like the hunger of a deadly knife.

i dot not know what's that for.
call it cheesy.
call it lame.
it's fresh from my mind.

so anyway..
a little update before i hit the sack.
normal Saturday routine.
so there's nothing much to talk about.

had a meeting with Mr Wong and while we were waiting for his 'arrival',
Miss Lim bought KFC for us.
thanks for the food!
talk about stuffs,
and it's on; i'm on pressure.
hmmm.....

dham, finah, nina, ogy and zat come over to my place
cos no one's at home.
(parents are out of town)
people left, people came.
they came over to play my xbox360 on the huge tv in my living room.
while they were doing so,
i had to do some chores, like cleaning the cat's area & showering the little one.
it was tiring i must say.

towards the end of the day.
had a chat with bro (dy).
the conversation got quite intense towards the end
and that's when i blew and made my statement.
the rest, it's ultimately up to him.
i was just trying to bring him to a point of realisation.
*huge-sigh*

well,
that aside for the moment.

when I try to do sth big for someone, I end up losing the game.
when I try to do sth small for someone, I will also end up losing the game.
so which exactly ? ? ?

i guess i shouldn't be thinking too much.
let Nature take its stroll and i hope it gets back on track soon; I HOPE.

ARGH!
all of that aside...
let me show u a picture...

why the hell am i showing this picture?

i had an accident earlier on during the day,
after the meeting I had with Mr Wong, Miss Lim and alumni.
i was holding onto my mechanical pencil.
was trying to insert it into the saxophone bag i was carrying.
it doesn't seem to go in, so i thrust it in and...
.
.
.
it poked my middle finger.
and what's bad, the pencil lead went into my finger.
so i thought i was going to be alright.
went through the day, and as hours passed,
i could feel pain in my finger.
ok, so that wasn't THAT bad.
as time passes,
i could feel pain around my wrist.
ok, that WASN'T THAT BAD.

towards like 10pm.
i could feel pain from my middle finger all the way to my elbow.
i asked everybody i know about whether having a pencil lead "embedded" would do any harm.

i almost believed my elder bro when he told me that
pencil lead is very poisonous and that it could kill me anytime soon.
i went smacking his shoulders when he chuckled.

but anyway,
I've heard from few others that it's poisonous and that it could contaminate my blood.
i do not know ok.
knowing the slightest possible thing that might happen is just scary enough.

and now,
my whole right arm is in serious SERIOUS pain.
AARRGGHH!
i tried to get it out.

some suggested using the nail-clipper to pull it out
- FAILED!

some suggested washing it (?!?!)
- FAILED!

some suggested that i should squeeze it out
- FAILED!
(this one created more pain)

some suggested that i should chop of my finger immediately (-_-")
- I did not fail; but this suggestion is RIDICULOUS! haha!

i just hope it gets better by tmr.
cos if it's not going to get better, I'm gonna seek professional help.

gonna keep this entry to a short one cos lately, as I've observed,
my entries are getting longer and longer and longer.
so before I hit the sack,
gonna share with u guys this video

[if the current blog song is playing;
please stop it to enjoy viewing the video]

isn't this kid fantastic?
i guess he's Korean (by seeing his name)
and i bet he's less than 15 years old.
well, check out his other videos and get ready to be awed.

come to think of it, classical guitar can simply serenade anyone.
(random thought)
so anyhoos,
yeah....
this kid will make it big some day..

till the next entry...

CHEERS!

...call it a really semi-bad day.
(whatever that means)
