Time and date changed for archiving purposes.May 28th; 1.37 AM at the point of writing this entry.
I should really start to write my entries on time.
I was busy doing my new blogskin (Almost done though).
That explains the change of colour to my tagboard.
That is if you notice it.
So, 27th was I-DON'T-THINK-IT-WAS-A-NEED-TO-ANTICIPATE day.
Before that, I must say I had the best breakfast ever!
It was nothing fancy.
A cup of hot milo and Cheddar cheese on bread.
No, it is not those slices of cheese. But those that comes in a block.
Sliced 3 rectangular pieces of cheese, had 2 pieces bread toasted while doing so.
Then, once the 2 pieces are toasted,
place the cheese on one piece bread, microwave it to melt the cheese.
Once done, clamp it with another piece of toasted bread.
Fuhhhh...
The cheese was hot and thick.
YUM-MEH!
At 3.45 headed to Comfort Delgro Driving Centre (CDC)
for my Basic Theory Test (BTT).
Together with Rene and Wayne.
Briefing was darn boring I tell you.
And the questions?
Freaking easy.
I finished everything in less than 15 minutes.
Most of the people in that room was doing the test still,
thought of leaving, but just to ensure, I re-read the questions and checked my answers.
Haha!
Clicked 'END TEST' and the only thing I could see on the screen was.
PASSED!
Immediately went out of the room to have the result slip printed (for fun).

Wayne and Rene PASSED too!
Greeted by Yonglin, who was there to register, soon after and
then applied for the Provisional Driving License (PDL).
An additional $25 for PDL.
I smell smoke from my ATM card. Haha!

PDL is valid for 6 months.
So let's hope that I would be driving in 6 months time.
I can't wait baby!
Yee-haa!
Moving on,

Moving on,
talking about cars,
I was watching the news on Channel 5 and came across this piece of news.
Malaysia bans foreigners of petrol along its state borders. It is a temporary implementation that will start this weekend. Malaysia has one of the lowest petrol cost in this region. That is because petrol in Malaysia is subsidised by the government, in order to cater to the lower-income family in Malaysia. The subsidies also come from the taxpayers. Somehow, many felt that "Why are we paying taxes for foreigners to fill up their tanks at a cheap price?"
In places like Thailand, the cost of petrol has risen. Obviously, they have taken advantage of it by crossing over to Malaysia (Since they share the state border with Malaysia) to pump cheap-petrol into their tanks. The same situation is happening with Singaporeans. Petrol in Singapore, I must say is not cheap, so since most of us here can easily access to Malaysia with just a scan of the passport (and a vehicle of course), pumping petrol into our cars is more like going to the grocery store to get a carton of milk. Areas affected includes the whole state of Johor (for Singapore); Perlis, Kedah, Perak and Kelantan (for Thailand).
So why not the states in the middle part of Malaysia? It is a strategical plan. By the time one would drive to Malacca (for Singaporeans) and fill up our tanks, it would be more than half-empty when we reach motherland. And moreover, driving up to Malacca JUST FOR PETROL? Not all would want to do that.
I just hope that this temporary-implementation is temporary for good. Or better, abolish the whole idea. We're paying money and helping Malaysia to boost their economy. Don't you think so?
Alright now,
it's 2.24 AM now.
I'm turning in already.
*YAWNS*
Till the next entry,
CHEERS!
Peace out!
