DAY 1
So the first day of camp was nothing much. Really. Just that Mdm Tao was being so cute that day. Haha! I miss those days when she taught my class Mathematics. Met up with my juniors at McDonald's before heading to BN. Thought of heading there slightly earlier but it seems that there's nothing much that we can offer help to. Because they were having combine with Mr Chiang.
And I can't seem to recall what happened after which. Hmmm.
Supper was good.
I had no intention of staying over because I still have the video tribute for the Secondary 4s to complete. Waited for the whole band to finished showering. Wished goodnight to whoever passed by me along the corridor. Left BN grounds when everybody was in their bunks 'sleeping'.
Reached home and was kinda distracted with a lot of things happening in the cyber world. Started doing the video quite late. And after I was done with the video, still had my speech to complete. Slept when the sun was rising. An hour or two later, received a call from Edwin that Mr Chiang wanted me to be there to rehearse them the pieces for the graduation. I told him that I will be there after 10 am. But I was freaking shagged. Oh, wait. This part should be under DAY 2. Heh.
DAY 2
As I was saying, I told him that I will be there after 10 am. But I was freaking shagged. I was super-glued to my bed that even when I was awake, it would lure me back to a deep sleep.
Skip.
Skip.
Graduation Ceremony for the Secondary 4s wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Delivered my speech and felt the 'ummph'. Hahaha! They know what I am talking about. :)
Conducted a few pieces for the 'performance'. Had mini-thoughts with myself. Why the hell was I conducting when he was there? Afraid of being ashamed in front of the Vice-Principal and teachers who were present there? Is that it? Sheesh.
Headed to the AVA room to screen the video I made for the Sec 4s. :)
Anyway, big bow and a huge round of applause for Rafe because he managed to pull the ceremony through. And of course, to those who have made the ceremony possible.
After reception, headed back up to the AVA room for DVD screening. Watched DRUMLINE. Although I have watched it like a trillion times, watching it again was rather inspiring. Really. By the time the movie ended, it was night. Had drills for barely 30 minutes and played The Banana Hunt.
Basically, groups have to go around the school to search for clues attached to a banana. Yes, A BANANA! There were sure a lot of bananas used. All I had to do is to go around the school with water guns in my arms and shoot at them. There weren't LIVE ammunition of course. It's WATER! Ended up playing among ourselves. Had a blast shooting water at my juniors; Aaron, Amirul, Wan, Ziq and Zul. It was like Counter Strike combat. Serious SERIOUS fun. Long time since I had fun with those people. And with choices, comes consequences. I chose to play water guns, therefore I got wet. Seriously wet. Drenched! I had no intentions of staying over that night also. But heck, I'll just have to walk feeling all wet. Heh.
Siti Rafidah lectured the band. :)
And then the same routine. Stayed for supper and waited for them to have their lights off. Headed home semi-drenched.
DAY 3
Took the chance to replenish my energy so woke up a little later. When I reached BN, it was time for the Sec 1s to have their games while the Seniors had combine with ..... Oh brother! Haha! Played Captain's Ball. There was one round where the Alumni was against the Sec 1s.
Imagine....
Alumni + Sec4s/5s- 10 people+- against the Sec 1s with a strength of 20 ++ people?
Hahaha! We (Alumni + Sec4s/5s) were ridiculously scoring every five minutes. So, the Sec 4s/5s went over to join forces with the Sec 1s and Alumni (with a strength of 7+- people after the transfer) was one our own. In the end, we won though. Haha!
The Alumni Team is just invincible!
After lunch, they had their sectionals. I saw something that pisses me off. Demanded the whole band to fall in at the quadrangle. And it was my turn to do all the shouting. I have been holding on to it since God knows when but what I saw during sectionals made me lose my patience and that was when I blew. My voice filled the whole school I suppose. Enough about that. PHILyouth got canceled so stayed on a little while to help out with the games. Since I was already committed to BN with their games, I decided to give the PHILyouth meeting a miss. Because at that point of time, in times like this, I felt that BN was way more important.
Had games and my oh my, it was FUN FUN FUN.
The band was divided into 4 teams. Each round, one team would have to walk across the quadrangle and protect the middle person. From what? WATER BOMBS OF COURSE! Thrown by the other 3 teams. It was helluva lot of fun! Making everybody drenched. I told the band that if you would want to throw a water bomb at me, think twice because I am not suppose to get wet as I have band practice in the evening.
So, while playing. Atiqah mistook a blow of the water bomb she received and thought it was I who threw it. The next thing I know, I got a strong blow of a water bomb on my back. I am innocent. Thanks eh Junior. Hahahaha!
After games, had to head to NYP for PHILwinds practice. I was rushing cos I left BN grounds at 6 pm when rehearsal starts at 6.30 pm. Cabbed down of course. Cost me 10 bucks. Gee.. Haha! Reached there, rehearsed U Trau and that was it. Left NYP earlier that expected and cabbed back to BN together with Idham and Yonglin. Nich hitchhiked since we were on our way there. Observed them doing sectionals. Attitude wise, everybody was doing it diligently. Good sight I suppose.
Had night games; 'The Amazing Race' and oh boy. I was feeling bored. Had to station myself at one point of the school and wait for the teams to arrive with the correct clues. Made them to forfeit and do ridiculous stuffs (eg. Rolling on the floor, form a Choo-Choo train etc) Hahaha! Thank God Finah was there with me to station with. If not, I would have gone crazy talking to myself!
I stayed over, despite not bringing any clothes. Hanged out with the other Sec 4s and Alumni in the AVA room. Eventually slept beside Rafidah who was emitting a lot of heat. Essential when you're sleeping in an air-conditioned room! Haha! Kidding!
DAY 4
Woke up at 8.30 in the morning. Headed home for shower. Zat, Ogy, Wayne and Zizi followed me back home too. They showered over at my place. Headed back to BN and thought that we would have lunch. But nooooooooooooooo~.
Went to the AVA room and the next thing I know, the alumni together with the Sec 4s were required to leave the room. Just why is there a need to isolate us? I don't freaking get it. Even if it's going to be "confidential", WE would eventually find out. And of course, credits to the great Juniors we have. When I said WE, I am referring to Alumni + Sec4 and 5s. :)
Oh ya, I read Aaron's other place for his rants and I so agree with him. Well, not fully, but perhaps the whole gist of what he was trying to say.
Camp ended off great. Just that.... those who know what I am talking about, go figure! :D
AFTER CAMP
Slacked at McDonald's after camp ended and I was SOOOOO tired that I slept on the tables at intervals of 20 minutes? Haha! I don't know, wasn't timing myself (duh!)
Finally ate something. Since parents will only return after 11 pm.
Fauzi picked us up and drove us to East Coast Park with CY, Idham, Finah. We went to the Eastern side of ECP. You know, where OUTWARD BOUND Campus is. So ulu (a malay slang for deserted). Walked deeper and sat somewhere. It was dark, real dark and in front of us was the local pine trees. Then, Idham was somehow panicking, he said, "Eh guys, lets go. I don't feel comfortable."
So without much hesitation, we left. Haha! Everybody was so scared. I can feel the chills even now when I'm typing this. Idham was browsing above the trees and he somehow saw white figure-like thing on top. He claimed that he might have mistaken the figure for the branches or the clouds. But he was perspiring like mad even when everybody was feeling rather cold due to the sea breeze. Never have I seen him in that state. Sat at a more brighter place and was basically taking in the breeze and enjoying the peace and serenity.
Went off and Fauzi fetched all of us home. Thanks dude!
A long update.
Will edit it the next time I log into Blogger.
I better get going. It is 3.40 am now.
