perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

DAILY UPDATE
3:00 AM

You may skip this entry. It is just one of those daily updates. If you see me updating in here, it clearly means two things.
ONE, something interesting happened that day.
TWO, a super random topic that I would like to share.
And today's entry, belongs to category number ONE.

Woke up and only to realise that the house was empty. Except for my 3rd elder brother. I recalled a day earlier, Mom wanted to head across to Johor. They left while I was in deep sleep. Moreover, I was not able to tag along as I have PHILyouth in the afternoon. Darn!

Met Idham and headed towards National Library Drama Centre (5th floor). Had 3 hours or so worth of sectionals. That time spent on sectionals was enriching. I learnt a couple of new things from Ah Fatt and that makes me wanna concentrate more on my playing. Though there were scrutinization done during sectionals but it all went well. There will always be room for improvement.

After sectionals, had combine with Mr Chiang. Ran through the two pieces and I must say the sound of the band sounds better. I do not know but the room (which has a very nice view) was rather echoey. Thus, leading to amplification of the sound. Apart from that, there were improvements here and there. We are left with approximately 3 more weeks till competition and I am sure if we constantly put in effort and have the sheer determination to do well, we will be able to see results. Satisfaction as a result of doing thorough sectionals could be felt and hence, the satisfaction during combine. Shall not speak too soon. We are not there yet BUT we are on our way there.

Headed to Popeye's at Singapore Flyer for dinner. That is the second time this week that I ate Popeye's! Huimin drove me, Idham and Yong Lin there because generally me and Idham had the biggest casings. The rest (Fidah, her friend, Valerie, Shao Ming and Nich) walked down. Settled down and so were the food. Ate and the funny parts during our conversation when it was towards the end. You know, Idham, as usual. Haha!

Here comes the fun part. It was raining. So all of us (Yes, all 8 of us) headed to Huimin's car. Since it was raining. So she decided to drop us off somewhere. Her plan, squeeze ALL OF US into one small car! Haha! It was funny though! Eventually, she had to make 2 rounds back and forth.

That one at least not so bad. Huimin offered a ride to those staying in the East a ride home. There's me, Fidah, Idham, Yong Lin, Valerie plus Shao Ming.
YES! 6 People in ONE CAR! (Excluding Hui Min)
The ride back home was HELL I tell you. Imagine, 5 people sitting at the back row when it is meant to occupy only 3 (or perhaps one tiny person). Idham's butt was clinging on to dear life on the door. Me and Yong Lin crossed our legs, Valerie had to shift her body in front and Shao Ming had to cling on to his dear life at the side. Oh, I left out on piece of information. My huge bari sax was on top of all of us! Haha! I swear I couldn't move my leg, my butt or my body for that matter. My elbows were merely resting Yong Lin's crotch and the other arm on Idham's tummy! Haha! Yong Lin had to put his arms over Shao Ming's shoulder and mine. I swear, it looked like some discreet gay party going on at the backseat. Never have I cramped myself up with so many guys! Hahaha!
Oh and by the way!
Siti Rafidah bte Daud was happily sitting in the front seat, IN COMFORT!
Haha! Anyway thanks Hui Min for the ride! :)

Walked home with my Bari Sax. Got home only to realise that parents were not back home yet. So I showered and sat in front of my com. 11.45 pm they returned and guess what?! Mom went grocery shopping at Carrefour! Bloody hell! Haha! I think she has some fetish for groceries. And another bloody-hell moment, guess where they went for late lunch? That buffet restaurant we went to to celebrate my birthday. WAHHHH!! I missed the opportunity!

Thank goodness for the 2 boxes of Pizza Mom bought at Pizza Hut there. That would make it up for the opportunity I missed. And 3 slices of Pizza for supper, woooo, killer!

Alrighty. That is all for my daily updates.
So so sorry if this made me put you to sleep. Haha!

Ciao!
