Talking To The Moon

perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

FINALLY!
11:59 PM

Updated on June 10th; 3.24 am.
Time and Date adjusted for archiving purposes.
I was woken up by vibrations from my phone.
Not any ordinary vibrations,
but a pulse telling the owner that a message is being received.
That was during mid-day, when the sun is directly above.
Bro texted asking whether I wanted to hang out.
And thanks to him, I had to force myself out of bed.
After much complications and stubbornness coming from him,
we finally settled on where to meet and all.

Met Bro at the bus stop around 3pm+ and man, I sure miss him a lot.
Woh woh! Its been ages since I last saw him.
So don't get me wrong.

Anyway, took bus service number 5 and headed over to town.
Did lots of catching up during the journey.
He was telling me how much stuffs he needed.
Well lil' bro, get it ONLY if you need it.
You already own a MP3 Player,
why waste your money getting a nicer-looking one?
Eventually, you'll be pressing the play button and listening to it via headphones.
That is only one of the items he wanted.
Don't get me started on the other stuffs.
Hahaha!

Come to think of it, he's like me.
There are so many things we want.
The difference is that I know the difference between a want and a need.
I think... Heh....

As I was saying,
alighted at Far East to be exact.
Walked and walked.
Did a pit-stop at Lucky Plaza's Royal Sporting House.
Proceeded to The Heeren's HMV
because I wanted to invest on a really good album.

Went to HMV's top chart section and I saw what I wanted.
Coming in at Number 1 was Jason Mraz's latest album.

Cost me $18.95.
But, I didn't have to take out a single cent.
I used the vouchers I received on the last day of school.

Remember?
I won the Best Speaker Award and was awarded with $40 HMV vouchers.

Was contemplating whether to get another album
belonging to I-DON'T-KNOW-WHO-JUST-YET.
So dropped the idea and paid.
Gonna save the remaining 20 bucks worth for maybe perhaps an upcoming album.
Who knows, there will be more fantastic albums in the future.
Secondhand Serenade's latest album maybe?
I shall see about it.

I am more motivated to get originals since I got the vouchers.
The vouchers serves a platform for me to start buying originals.
Rather than to keep downloading them online. Haha!
Well, of course I'll pick a fantastic album, and keep it.
It won't possess any sentimental value but at least,
that album is worth buying.

After HMV, time-check: approx. around 5pm,
walked all the way to City Hall for our very late lunch/very early dinner.
Somewhere in between.

I discreetly took this at some traffic junction.
As you can clearly see the shock on his face.

Dy was famished because he has not eaten since morning.
Decided on Burger King.
By the way, I wanted to order something small.
So I decided to order the new Teriyaki Whopper.
I do not know what I was thinking and didn't see the word 'Whopper'.
As a result, my burger was HUGE.
Had to eat it slowly so that I can finish it without feeling stuffed.

Dy wanted to head home after which,
because he has plans after 7pm.
Thanks eh Dy, you should have told me earlier.
I felt rushed. Like not a moment that I get to sit down and just talk about stuff.
Hence, there weren't much catching up done.

Took the train to Eunos and 60-ed home.
On my way home, I felt tired all of a sudden.
So, it was kinda a good thing that we had to head home early.
Thanks for the day out Bro.
AND we should hang out more often.

The rest of my day was super dead I tell you.
Ah yes, anyway, today was the first day I seriously did a total-workout.
I think I will definitely find it very weird to say what I did in here.
But anyway, did lots of new stuffs.
Of course, I did some research on the net on
what is the best way to execute a good workout.
Found a number of pretty interesting stuffs.
And man, the new routine I came out with is tiring.
I shall assume it is a good sign.

Well, today was only the first day.
So, I shall sustain and forgive myself now and then when I get tired easily.
Just have to be persistent and just hope that I don't get lazy
and take a long vacation from working out.
Don't ask me why I'm into working out now.
Keeping fit would probably be the reason.

I'm hitting the sack now.
It's 4.23 am now. Goodness!
&
No worries, I will do a review on the CD soon.
Perhaps, before this week ends.
All I can tell you is, the album is unique.
The songs are fantastic.
The rest, just wait for it.
Including pictures of every crook and cranny of the album I took.
Heh... Alrighty.

Ciao!

3 more days till I get a year older. Haha!
*hint-hint*
