perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

WHEN RANDOMNESS STRIKES!
4:30 AM

*EDITED with PICTURES

Date and Time of entry changed for archiving purposes

It was Friday night. The only intention of watching 'Zohan' with Fauzi, Ruz and Wayne. So we headed down to e-Hub downtown. But due to unforeseen events that happened earlier, we didn't manage to catch the movie on time. And the next one would be at 11.45 pm. I did not mind actually.
Somehow, came up with the idea of Fauzi heading home to take his Dad's car and head out, somewhere. And so it was. Headed to his place and while doing so, did some calling. Called the guys (Idham, Izzat, Ogy and Yong Lin).

Thank god for Fauzi's 7-seater family car! Somehow, we managed to squeeze in 8 people. Unfortunately, the skinny ones had to conquer the last row. And the 3 skinniest among that 8 was me, Yong Lin and Fairuz. Hahaha! It was the ultimate KESIANS! Wind down the windows and let the breeze blow our hair. Tuning to real good classic songs like from Westlife and all we did was sing our lungs out in the car. Mind you, we sang like we own the entire expressway. Haha! Better than those ah-bengs who would switch on to techno music and think the road they are on belongs to Snoop Dogg.

Anyway, while we were on Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) heading towards Pasir Ris area, Idham was hell making a lot of noise. Haha! He is just hyper (At night ONLY). And so were some others.
So, in order to shut them up, Fauzi drove to Changi and yes, you have guessed it. Old Changi Hospital (OCH)! Haha! He drove up that eery slope and good thing was, as the car was on brake, EVERYBODY was quiet! Hahaha!

After Changi, Zi droved us to Changi Airport Terminal 3 (T3). The roads were practically empty. And as usual, we were making a hell lot of noise, AGAIN! Idham did some story-telling and all I felt was goosebumps all over my arms. Haha! I was just keeping my cool so I listened. Heh.

That's Fairuz (the ever-wise guy)
and the three guys in front (L to R: Wayne, Ogy, Yong Lin).
Making our way to Popeye's.

T3 for late night supper at Popeye's. Umm, if I can remember we were at T3 at around half an hour past midnight. It was not some sort of supper but it was more like a feast. A horrible one. Haha! I ordered the 3pc Chicken Set Meal and I did not know the serving was huge.

This is what was on my tray.

Had to slowly eat it and all well, I finished it. The company of the guys was just splendid. At that point of time, I couldn't ask for anything more. Good food (A LOT of them) and the company of good friends around.

Idham was famished!

The guys over at the other table because we couldn't
find one that could fit all 8 of us.

As usual, we were merely entertaining ourselves. From Izzat with his usuals, Idham and his nonsensical nonsense, and the piece of chicken which shot me with its juices. Hahaha! I was eating that huge piece of chicken and it shot some sort of juice onto my pants. Alright now, I know what you're thinking. When I commented about it, the guys looked at me and all they did was laugh hysterically. And the aftermath of eating junk food?? MORE crappings! I had a good laugh close to even 2 am in the morning.

I suggested that we head down to East Coast Park (ECP) to just take a stroll since we just ate. Some wanted to head home and so it was. Fauzi fetched everybody home. Kinda pity him. Pasir Ris, Tampines (2 separate location), Hougang, Ubi, Bedok Reservoir (2 separate location) and then home sweet home for him. Anyway, thanks for the ride and to the guys (I have no idea whether they would be reading this but heck), thanks for that impromptu day out. I had a HELL lot of fun.

That would be the highlight this week.
Anyway, I better end this entry.

Ciao!
