perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

BON VOYAGE
4:48 AM

Let's do a quick one before I hit the sack. Well, it took me quite a while because I did not have all the pictures with me. So had to wait till a dear friend finishes uploading them. Still, most of the pictures is not with him. It is with another person. Oh well. Just have to make do with whatever pictures I have. And also it took me quite a while because I was utilizing my Picasa into compiling many pictures into one. The reason why is obvious isn't it? Alright, quit yacking Khai! Hah!

Minds Cafe @ Clarke Quay with the guys, together with Jia Xing and Bettina was canceled. So, met them the airport instead, for dinner. At first they settled down at Popeye's and when I arrived, they switched to Swensen's. The walk from Terminal 3 (T3) to Terminal 2 (T2) was crazy. We were playing with static electricity. Everyone was running for their lives when someone near comes charging with their index finger pointing at you. Haha!

And if you have noticed the picture on the left, these two were fooling around and pretended to be a couple. Haha! Funny to even think of it again. This is only 3 of the pictures I cropped. Trust me, there were far more than what you see here. Wayne, the one in white tee, was making a hell lot of noise. The people in the M1 shop which was directly across these two, were staring at them. When we told him that strangers were staring at him, he said loudly (as if he was in a bad mood)...

"Eh, my business ah! Aku gay pe!"
('Aku' can mean 'I am' or 'me' in Malay)

Guys will always be guys aye. So anyway, we continued making our way to T2 and our dear friend, Yong Lin was like our walking photographer. Literally, anywhere you are, you can see him waiting with his camera in his hands. Thanks to him, I have more pictures. Haha! So, credits to him.

Settled down in Swensen's and we noticed someone there. Mr Chew, ex-BNSS science teacher. He was waiting for his family to celebrate his sister's birthday if I am not wrong. So while waiting, he joined our table and basically did a bit of catching up. Ordered our food. I ordered the Sourdough 49er Chicken which cost me 12 bucks. Many many pictures were taken. But I could not get hold of most of the pictures as there were 3 cameras.

After we were done with our food. Ordered the usual Earthquake. 2 of it may I add! Haha! It was THE killer but every spoonful of it was just pure heaven. And the total bill? A whooping S$168. There were 8 of us. Each person had to fork out 20 bucks to clear our bill, which was inclusive of the 10% GST and Service Charge. Ah man, I smell smoke in my account. Haha!

But I guess it was not much of a huge damage done. Once in a while for us to dine in there, is not that bad afterall. Besides, we had to make it a little special since Jia Xing was there. She will be heading back to Australia to pursue her studies in a few weeks time and I heard that she won't be back for quite some time. How nice it was to have that gathering for her.

Realised the time was close to 9.30 pm. We headed back to T3 to bid farewell to 3 of our dear friends. Fidah, Kelly and Hazizi. They were flying off to Italy (for the Florence Music Festival if I am not wrong) together with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO). How nice for them to spend 10 days in a foreign country. What more, ITALY! But hey, I am sure one day, I will be able to afford to go on a trip to Europe. Yeah, one day. So, took pictures here and there.

After they proceeded into transit, we went to the washroom (which I must say was nicely decorated) and headed back home. There are suppose to be more pictures but most of it is with the two ladies.

To the 3 of them who I think should be touching down (somewhere) soon, have fun and take care of yourself while you are there. Take loads of pictures and share them with us. And most definitely, do not forget to bring something back for us here in Singapore. Haha!
10 more days till their return....

That is all for this entry.
Ciao!
