The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

TWO MOVIES IN TWO DAYS
7:30 PM

5 stars!
(out of 5)

I watched 'The Dark Knight' on Wednesday (yesterday) with the two As, Amina and Arnina at eHub; Downtown East. To those who have not seen it yet, you BETTER catch it soon. I love the sound effects. I love how the story goes. And I definitely love the characters. Especially the Joker played by Heath Ledger. He did a fantastic job! The intensity of every scene towards the end was the bomb. I was sitting at the edge of my seat (not literally). My heart skipped a beat once, or twice (thrice?) during the movie. Two and a half hours in the movie theater was totally worth it. In short, a fantastic movie!

4 stars!
(out of 5)

And today, my POA tutorial lesson got postponed. Therefore, we had 4.5 hours worth of break before the next class commences. So we, Mohan, Rene and myself decided to head down to Cathay (Hey, it is just a stone's throw away from school!) and catch 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'. Another good movie! Haha! Serious, I am not kidding. Scene after scene, it makes you keep wanting for more. There were quite a number of funny scenes which made the whole movie better, rather than just another serious adventure movie. Oh boy! Go and watch it yah? No regrets guaranteed.

Oh may I add, we watched it in The Grand Theatre of Cathay. The seats are uber comfortable (the best movie seats I ever lay my butt on) and it is just, well, GRAND!

So, there you go. Personal recommendation by me. Totally worth your time to catch both movies. Take your time with The Mummy because today is just the first day of screening. Catch The Dark Knight first before it is gone forever!

Maybe another update later on.

Ciao!
