perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

ALUMNI GATHERING + B'DAY SURPRISE
4:57 PM

On Thursday (25th September), we had an alumni gathering at Simpang Bedok for us to break our fast together. Made my way there after school but before that, met Fidah, Nina and Susu at Bugis. Took the train down to Tanah Merah and then by bus. By then, I thought the others would have already arrived but only Izzat was there. So, we took a seat and waited for people. While waiting, we decided on what to eat.

Soon, group by group started to arrive. Let me see whether I am able to recall who was there. Luqman, Farith, Izzat, Fairuz, Idham, Ogy, Wayne, Fauzi, Kadri, Fidah, Nina, Susu, Asmah, Syaherah, Mr Lim, Lisa, Jannah, Raudhah, Suhaina, Ain, Farah. (Anyone left out?)

I shall leave you with the pictures and a little paragraph (the most) as we go along. (Click on the image for a bigger and clearer view)

Wan, the birthday boy then arrived.

We sat there for hours. Socializing was at its best with lots of catching up being carried out. As planned by some of the girls, we then made our way to Amina's place to surprise her since it was her birthday too that day.

Took a few group pictures while waiting for the bus.

Upon reaching Amina's void deck, there was a short briefing by Fidah.

And then, we made our way up by stairs! Hahaha! Thank god it was on the 5th floor. Imagine what would it have been if her place was on the 12th floor? We did not take the lift because it would require us to walk pass her living room and with 14 people walking pass the corridor, it is so obvious. Haha! A little bit of exercising won't do harm right?

Walking up the stairs.

Brought the cake out and began lighting the candles up.
And we were on stand-by mode while . . . . . . . . . .

Fauzi aka the 'express-delivery-man' knocked on her door and surprised her.
She was shocked of course. Hahaha!
She even thought that Fauzi was some door-to-door salesman.

Sang her a birthday song outside her house and she invited us in.

We sang the birthday song for the second time for both Amina and Wan.

Cake cutting session.

Happy (belated) 17th Birthday to Shah Ridzuan!

Happy (belated) 19th Birthday to Amina Maisara!

May Allah bless both of you with all the health in this world.
To Amina, wish you best of luck for your upcoming A's. (You can do it!)
& to Wan, dah besar seh! Hahaha!

And finally, a group photo.

2 more days till Hari Raya!
Ciao!
