Talking To The Moon

perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

I embed a lot of things from the net. But most of the time, I use my own pictures. Just in case I forget to do my acknowledgments, at least I have given my thanks to the following:

THE TRIP UP TO SDT'S OFFICE
11:59 PM

Date and time have been changed for archiving purposes
(Entry written on Sunday, 12.18 am.)

A little update.
I am extremely tired because of the past events that have occurred. So I shall be keeping the number of words to its minimum. In the next entry, you will probably know why. On top of that, it is during the fasting month. Despite the not-so-usual thirstiness, I managed to pull through and went through the day like any other day. Except for the fact that what I have been doing is energy-tapping and thus, feeling drained at the end of the day.

So anyway, three (Gynette, Justina and Rene) of my classmates and myself, headed up to Fort Canning Park where Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) office is on Friday for the end of the year production (The Nutcracker) briefing. The walk up felt like it could go on forever. While on the other hand, the walk down was less energy-zapping.
Pictures Galore!
The Way Up

Steps ...

and more steps ...

and MORE steps ..

AND EVEN MORE STEPS !

Finally we have reached the top, but we were only halfway there!

The Walk from the Top to the Office

It seemed never-ending!

The greeneries were magnificent.

Finally, the place where the office is.

The outside of the office.

The Walk Down

Down ..

And down ....

AND down ...

AND DOWN....
  • Walked back to school for our next lesson.
  • Broke my fast with Justina and Rene at New Hawa Restaurant @ Selegie.
  • Headed Paya Lebar to meet up with the Kesians (KBs).
  • Walked around the bazaar which was literally littered with people.
  • Bought some food and drinks and sat somewhere to eat.
  • That is when the Air Katira (I do not know what it is called in English) we bought do not taste like Katira at all.
  • Then home at around 12 midnight.
I listed them in bullet point because I am seriously have little energy left. I desperately need some heavy sleep and I guess the pictures would make it up for it. No frets, more interesting stuff which was spent on during the weekends in the next entry. What is important now is that I need my REST!
Ciao!
