Gabe Bondoc!At first I did not know who he was. It was months back that my eldest Bro showed me a video of him singing on Youtube. Yeah, that site is ever so popular for artists like Gabe trying to make the cut. Out of the many that I have seen, he DID make that cut.
Gabe loves to play the guitar, sing and write music. It was kinda interesting when I saw a video of him explaining how he picked up the guitar. So here is the video that will tell you a little bit more about him. Some of the facts are irrelevant though. Heh.
So, his influences range from artists like John Mayer (which is his biggest inspiration), to David Ryan Harris, to Corinne Bailey Rae, to James Morrison, to Colbie Caillet. That explains the touch in his music that gives that sparkle. It is fresh. He reminds me of Craig David and Jason Mraz. No? Haha! You tell me.
Oh, he is Filipino. That explains it! Haha!

From his myspace.com page, tt says that he is not signed to any label. I am not quite sure about the current situation. With such talent and charisma, someone sign him up please! Haha! Well, anyway, I think he's signed on already. I went to search for Gabe's songs on Imeem and found some of his songs that I have never hear before. It sounds like a studio recording though. So I guess, he is already on his way to building up his album. Or am I just slow? Hahaha!
