OVERDUE
I realised that my entries lack in pictures lately. So to spice it up and not bore you with just words, I present you a picture entry. (I sound like some official presenting a newly launched product, no? Haha!)
Anyhoo, on one of the November weekends, I had a mini getaway to Johor Bahru (JB) with the family. Nothing much really. Basically a time for us to get together, spend quality time together, shop and unwind ourselves from the busy life we have been living with lately. It was worth the trip there.
I have collated the pictures.
So do enjoy it as it took me quite a while to get it all uploaded into my account.
Haha!

After we booked out from the hotel, went to many places. All for the love of food. Haha! But I was fuming mad when I was at a particular mall. I can't recall the name of the mall but it is known for the huge Arowanas being displayed in huge tanks. Sounds familiar? No? Yes? Anyway, I was in that particular pet shop. They were selling all sorts of animals. The exotic ones caught my eye the most.
They were selling the following.
- Scorpions
- Baby lobsters
- Exotic land tortoise (which out of the many in the glass tank, only one was moving)
- White hedgehogs
- Flying squirrels (they were sleeping when I took a peep at them)
- Baby monkey.
Yes! They were selling a baby monkey. It was so fragile that I felt sorry for it. It was scouring for food (which seems like rotten apple) from the base of the cage it was in. So tell me, is that animal cruelty or what? Basic necessity like a bowl of water was absent! I felt sad for the rest of the exotic animals listed above too. Instead of being in the woods or wild, they are caged up and lead of what it seems like a rather depressing life. If ever that kind of sight were to have here in Singapore, I will not hesitate to call SPCA. I will not. Animals have feelings too and it is incredibly sad that I can't do much for the animals in that particular pet shop but to wave goodbye and hope well for them.
After "that" mall, headed to JUSCO for late lunch.
Angsana for a bit of shopping and dinner.
Then headed back home.
A short trip, but worth the time to reward myself.
Oh yes!
Check out this video. I was being incredibly annoying after breakfast so, I teased sister a little. Heh.
Each time I watch this video it makes me laugh.
Told ya I was annoying! Hahahahaha!
I am off to hit the sack.
Ciao!

For the benefit of my non-Malay friends:
(insert where it is appropriate)
Khai: "Farah Farah Farah, have you bathed yet?"
Before she could answer I interrupted, annoyingly "Noooo!"
Then I started teasing her again.
Khai: "Farah Farah Farah..."
Sis: Yes?
Khai: ".. you are smelly!"
Told ya I was annoying! Hahahahaha!
I am off to hit the sack.
Ciao!
Good morning Baby!
