Some of you might know that I have been trying to get a part time job since the holidays sinked in. But I guess I am not able to do so especially when my holidays are packed with so many things. Concert after concert, preparation for brother's engagement occupied too much of my time.
Even if having a job without flexible hours, I will not be too comfortable with it. School's starting soon and it is essential that I am able to arrange it so that it will not clash.

So today, with boredom who accompanied me, I logged in into JobsCentral. The place I always go to search for jobs. I went to fill up my resume which I must say is now "fully-loaded".
I then went around looking at the jobs they were offering, and saw quite a number which attracted me. With that one visit to JobsCentral, I applied for THREE jobs. Haha! It could have been more because it was kinda addictive. No, really! Hahaha!
The first one I applied was to Häagen-Dazs. I am hanging on to this together with luck. If I get it, lucky me. If not, then I am fine with it. I don't know. I always thought it would be interesting to work in an ice cream parlor. No? Haha!
The second I applied was for a position as a Student Tour Facilitator. What the job requires me to do is to guide primary/secondary school students (30-40 students) to tour around local tourist attraction and lead them interactively to complete fun-filled and educational worksheets. This caught my eye because I like to talk to large groups and being a facilitator has always been a fun thing to do. What more with young school kids! And hey, the pay's quite good too. Heh.
And for the third, I wasn't too sure what I was thinking before clicking "apply". I applied for a position as a Part-time Conversational Malay Trainer. Hahahaha! You must be thinking that I am probably kidding. Nooo, I am not kidding. Again, this job requires me to be around primary/secondary school students or even adults. It is like I have to teach a non-malay the basics of malay language. I heard from my sister that her school has this program going on and it is kind of compulsory for them to attend.
As interesting as it sounds, I applied. And guess what!
