perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

ICE-CREAM MARATHON
1:07 AM

Free Cone Day hosted by Ben and Jerry's was held on the 21st of April. It is an annual thing where they would give out free ice cream to the public. If I am not wrong, it is for a good cause. I figured it will probably boil down to keeping people happy. Happy people meaning a better place to live, no? Haha! I am pretty sure if you Google it, it will provide a list from A-Z as to why such an event is organised.

I got off from school and headed down to The Cathay with Rene. The cue was rather long, but it took us around 20 minutes to get a cone. Considering that there were many free ice-cream goers queuing up, I thought the wait came shorter than expected. I got myself 'Macadamia Chocolate' and queued for one more and got myself plain chocolate. 'Macadamia Chocolate' was out of this world! The chocolate coated Macadamia nuts was simply heaven!

Rene had to leave for some school production and so I thought I would meet up with Fidah and Maisara; whom are also queuing up at Raffles City Shopping Centre. I got myself 'Coffee, Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz' (divine!) and queued for one more and got myself 'Chocolate Fudge Brownie'. I was not digging the fudge brownie though. My taste buds just died on me by the time I got my 4th cone.

For the record, I was not queuing back to back! That would be Kiasu-ism! Haha! Walked around the mall and sat at O'ChaCha. Drank Green Tea Matcha compliments of Shiqah, who works there (of which I thought it tasted pretty weird). AND THEN we continued queuing for another ice cream! HAHAHA!

Anyway, this is my second year in a row participating in such an event.
Well, all for the love of Ben and Jerry's ice cream!

Good ice-cream.
Good friends.
Great laugh.
Awesome day!

Cheers!
