I seriously do not have an idea what to expect on Monday, 19 July. Yup, that is when the event above is happening. Just a general publicity, you need to get a copy of 19 July's Today or Straits Times (and also on LianHe Zaobao, Wanbao and Sin Ming), and cut out the ad to redeem for free tickets, popcorns and drinks. Please do take note that it is 1 redemption per person no matter how many newspaper cutouts you have = 1 newspaper cutout for EACH movie ticket. So if you want 3 free movie tickets, make sure you have 3 newspaper cutouts. Got it? ;)
I can imagine those typical kiasu Singaporeans queuing up very early. OH GOD! The feeling of working that day is haunting me. One thing for sure, I really do hope that customers would not be unreasonable or impatient for that matter. If they do, I will not be impressed. Cathay is giving away tickets, food and popcorn for free, so whomever that is going down to queue and redeem better behave rationally. The least customers can do is to be more appreciative.
On another note, headed down to town earlier today with the guys + Finah to do some light window shopping, had good dinner at Cahaya and then more walking. My intention to get apparels from Topman got flushed down the drain. It is so disappointing to step into Topman nowadays. There's nothing that I like. Zara was another disappointment. I wanted to get this really nice brown cardigan/sweater that was on sale. It was $40. I can't really remember the original price but the reduction was well worth it. Saddest thing is that there's no size. It ALWAYS happens to me. When I want to buy something nice for myself, it's either no size, or it's out of stock. Most of the time that is. I shall try head over to Zara again in the next few days to grab the chance. It's really really nice. I must get my hands on it no matter what cos if I don't, I'll look at it in regret.
Spend the last few hours outside with Nareeni. I was near her workplace, so might as well meet up since we were heading home anyway. By the way, I've contacted SBS *winks*. Okay, I'm kidding! HAHA!
Alrighty then. I'm done with today's entry. Weekends gonna pass by in a breeze. I won't be surprised if it's already Monday. Have a great weekend all!
Cheers!
