perhaps the best

The name is Khairul. Would do fine with Khai or Kerol [kay-roll] - with proper pronunciation that is.

May have caused a traumatic experience to the nurses who were there when I graced the world on the 14th of June, 21 years ago.

I reside at the great eastern side of Singapore. At an estate named after a water containment facility. Go figure!

A left-hander. However, I function more like a right. And sometimes left of course.

Owns a Class 3 driving licence.

Have been playing the saxophone for 8 years. Currently a Baritone Saxophonist in the Philharmonic Youth Winds.

Being and socialising with people occupy whatever free time I might have.

Boredom is sadly pathetic - would be just staring at my ceiling.

And recently, graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts where I pursued a diploma in Arts Management, majoring in Performing Arts.

BIRTHDAY POST (JANUARY)
2:27 PM

Alright, I have decided to do a birthday post a little bit different this time round. Though this was suppose to be at the end of every month but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was not able to do this entry on time.

In the month of January, the usuals (Kesian Boyz and Baking Girls) threw a birthday surprise for two of our beloved friends. Namely, Su'aidah aka Susu and Fauzi. First up in the month of January, was Suaidah's birthday which was on the 1st of January. I will not type much and allow the pictures to do the talking ya?

Everyone at the void deck waiting for the lift.

Susu was not home, so we decided to crash into her place (with the help of her elder brother). We then started decorating her place.

And before we could get ready to light up the cake, keep quiet and surprise her in darkness, Susu opened the door! Haha! She said she could hear Rafidah's voice from outside her house! Well, we did not manage to surprise her (like hide somewhere and shout "SURPRISE!") but at least it is the thought that counts.

This is Amina Maisara holding the lighted cake.

So, had the birthday girl to cut the cake and we ate and ate. Man, there were a lot of food.
But food is good! Hahaha! We ate while watching over a show of 'Don't Forget the Lyrics'.

Kesian Boyz doing what we do best.

After helping out to clear Susu's place, we went down to some court and took group pictures. Took quite a lot of it. Some of it was to the point that I went HEADLESS! Haha!

Next was Fauzi's birthday. It was an advance birthday celebration since his birthday falls on a school day. Well, that would make it all unexpected for him right? Haha! Me and Syafinah aka Pynah met up earlier during the day to scout for cakes. We travelled to places like City Hall to Bugis and finally settled at Marina Square. We bought this huge chocolate cake (three layers of sponge cake with thick chocolate cream in it if I may add) at Secret Recipe. Can you believe it? We spend like 3 hours searching for a cake!

After we made the purchase, we met at the rooftop of Esplanade together with some of our close friends, and that is where we decided surprised him. We waited and waited till he was seen on the rooftop with Idham (our sidekick). We surprised him from his back. Sang a birthday song from afar and when he turned around, that was when he realised that we have all, in one way or another, set up a surprise for him. Well, he was relatively shocked from his facial expression. So, mission accomplished! Haha!

That is all.
One thing for sure, there are many more birthday surprises coming!
Ciao!
